Mwananchi Afrika?
It is estimated that if current trends continue, more than 50% of all languages spoken across the world today will be Extinct, or critically endangered by the year 2100.
This threat was my rallying cry in the fight against language death in March of 2024.
Since then, both the team and the dictionary have grown, and my love for our languages has only increased. We hope to help create more content in our native Kenyan languages and to help similar initiatives both inside and outside East Africa.
